It’s Not The Load That Breaks You. It’s How You Carry It

This week you may be returning rested, with your resilience battery recharged and feeling optimistic for the year ahead. How do we keep you that way?

In order to carry your load effectively, we offer two provocations that may support you proactively to plan for any wobbles ahead.








1-Values -our guiding principles that influence decision making. 

 

●      How clear are you on the values that drive your behaviour?

●      If you are clear, how well are they serving you?

●      How long is it since you reviewed your values?

●      How are you actively living and breathing your values?

 

If you’d like to explore any of these questions further, here is one resource,

●      From the list, identify your 3 top values. 



●      Jot the behaviours that others will see from you in 2024 for each of your values.

●      Display and reflect.

 

2-Focus

 

●      What are your priorities this year?

●      How do they link to your plans?

●      How are you planning to achieve these priorities?

●      How will you monitor and celebrate your progress and successes?

●      How strongly do people / culture feature in your priorities?

●      Who will help you?
